Original Travel Poster, designed in 1952 by Ernst Hodel on behalf of the Bernese Oberland Railways, which owns the Schynige Platte Railway, a cogwheel railroad built in 1893 that is still in operation and runs to the viewing platform above Interlaken. Once at the top, you have a magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
However, the focus here is on the Alpine flora: the entrance to the Botanical Alpine Garden with around 600 species is located right next to the mountain station.
