Grisons | The Land of 150 Valleys

The eagle depicted by Eduard Stiefel – one of the very first Swiss poster artists – on his original poster doesn’t seem to be in a particularly good mood. On the other hand: No one would take a smiling bird of prey seriously, unlike one that looks grumpy. That would also make the message seem ridiculous – though it certainly has its merits: Graubünden, the land of 150 valleys, is perfect for day trips or even holidays in the Grisons if you want to be left alone.
