One can only guess what the managers of the Lötschberg Railway were thinking when they tried to attract passengers to their trains bound for Goppenstein in the Lötschental with this poster (likely based on a painting by Albert Nyfeler); probably not much, judging by the expressions on the two people’s faces, especially the woman’s. Did he maybe ruin her mood for good? Or is it perhaps the area after all? Nevertheless: as a curiosity, it’s a thoroughly attractive original poster.
