Original Vintage Travel Poster designed by Henri Ott for Swissair, which was used in dozens of text variations in the early 1950s – in this case in Vienna agencies to appeal to Austrians who had to change planes in Zurich or Geneva to board another Swissair flight.
This made particular sense here, as Austria did not regain full sovereignty (and thus air sovereignty) until 1955 as a result of World War II – so it was not allowed to have its own airline in 1951.
