Original Poster from the seminal series that Emil Schulthess and Hans Frei designed for Swissair from 1971 onwards using photographs taken from the air by Georg Gerster (here of St Peter’s Square). This poster from the first series – i.e. still with the jet logo in the upper left corner – was created in 1975 on the occasion of the jubilee of the Catholic Church, which took place under the slogan «Renewal and Reconciliation».
