Original Poster designed by Ernst Busch, a German painter and commercial artist known for his often frivolous motifs, which advertised the Curaçao liqueur produced by the Muttenz-based spirits company August Senglet in 1924. Printed on chamois-colored paper to make the white petticoat stand out even more. The slipping corset must have caused quite a stir as well; there’s no need to even show the bottle.

An pretty daring motif for its time, not just by Swiss standards, Golden Twenties or not, simply capitalizing on the fact that the scandalous holds a special appeal for the average citizen.
