Original Travel Poster, charming and wonderfully picturesque, evoking a sense of peace (which was certainly no coincidence in 1938); one cannot help but listen to the babbling of the mountain stream, taking care not to startle the wagtail.
One of Alois Carigiet’s last commissioned works – designed for the Arosa Spa and Tourism Association, which had requested a poster advertising the upcoming summer season – before he returned to his birthplace Truns the following year to focus on his purely artistic work.
