An Original Vintage poster that equates the concepts of height, sun, exercise, and nutrition with the four aces to good health and a speedy recovery – with the advertised high-altitude resort and its climate therapy traceable to Franklin Bircher, son of Bircher muesli founder Maximilian Oskar Bircher.

The station was established in 1942 at the Hotel Victoria in Davos, after Bircher Jr. had worked at his father’s «Lebendige Kraft» (vital force) sanatorium on the Zürichberg, among other places, and then headed the Institute for Nutritional Therapy in Paris for five years. He also served as a member of the Swiss National Council for the LdU (National League of Independents), which he helped to found.
